Well I was distracted by shiny objects this a.m.... :)

I have one social media vice and that is linked in.  This a.m. I was drawn in big time.  Hospital missteps, UNC CH position I wish had been posted when I landed in that town in 1995...and what about a psilocybin clinic in every state to let people over 72 see if that is a therapy for what - whatever - ails them?  And the idea about being more connected than every before and more out of touch on a meaningful level at the same time.  Phew...looking forward to losing myself in my word work this a.m.  :)

Yesterday - dealt with a RMD, walked, ALDI, walked by to check and see if swimming lady's car was back in her driveway indicating she had made it to and from her grandson's graduation in Maryland.  I am amazed at what she finds the will and energy to do at 86 that I find out of my range of motion a decade younger.  Oh well.  ALDI trip was a $25.35 day.  Still feel that even without all the "savings" at Shoprite I am landing on the right side of what I am spending.  AND I am praying that the peaches I purchased land on the right side of ripeness for me...always a crap shoot especially when the memory of North/South Carolina peaches set the bar very high.  :/  AND I did wash clothes.  Made it without getting off my pod use schedule even with the load of wash I did for sister #1.  

Might finish Awake today...so not me, but still challenges my thinking.  Divorce and re-entry with means.  Using a month in Bar Harbor ME as a re-entry activity with first post divorce date within I think 13 months.  I have yet to experience that...husband left 30 years ago as of 11/16/2026.  No Bar Harbor date situation as yet.  Awake and I were the same divorced age...similarities ended there.  But some of her lessons learned were good (hard) for me to hear.  

Today - get back on schedule :)  5:43 am already.  Run dishwasher. Walk. In response to swimming lady confirming that she did get home safe and sound's question about when the pool opened.  Looks like June 18 for opening day.  Bad news is I have a zoom at 2 p.m. that day.  Oh well.  Good for me to flex a bit.  (Gritting my teeth as I say that)  :)  I dug my bathing suit out of the closet this weekend...  :/  It is what it is as to pool fashion for me.  Pool season is a whole new world for me.  Lots of decisions about car versus walk each day.  When you only get in the car once a week to go to the grocery story, getting in the car everyday to go to the pool when it is walkable - but makes for a sweaty return to the apt... - is a lot.  :)
