I am hoping I don't come off as a bubblehead tonight! And I don't wear make up so I won't be able to draw attention away with the ruby red lipstick! Oh well. But one of the English teachers had to back out of a dinner/lecture at another private school tonight and it was posted on the email. I am sure the other two teachers beat the bushes to get anyone but me to go - a staff versus faculty person - but they had to give me the news that no one else came forward to claim the ticket. I hope they invite me to ride over with them so they can "prep" me.
Other than winning the lecture ticket lottery, I did go ahead and set myself up with an appt with a "PCP" and a Dermatologist. PCP comes first and then I can keep or cancel the Dermatologist. As a friend shared with me it could just be an "age spot", so maybe after my visit with my medical friends next week, I might cancel all the appointments.
Another great walk last night. It was not as cold as the night before and even when I tried to talk myself out of the walk and to go to the school gym -I just know how I feel when I go through my evening routine and did not want to give that up. It is looking like I planned my trip to Texas at just the right time. First real arctic blast moving in for next week.
Need to pick up February's book club book before I go on vacation. Will have plane and waiting area time on my hands.
