February 23, 2007 -- Someone you work or do business with seems determined to criticize everything you do or say, but in a way you should take it as a compliment as it means you are on the right track. Sadly, what is good for you is not so good for them, so the louder they yell the better you must be doing.
I wonder if this is "good guidance" for my first morning meeting with my boss. I will try not to push the cosmic envelope. I prepared last night - no walk - thought after my slip a night off might be a good thing and it was sleeting and then snowing as the afternoon/evening went on. I did stop by the library and picked up my March book club book. Then came home and took a long bath - incense and candles burning. Not as dramatic a look as my picture, but it does change the tone of the apartment when everything is burning.
My plan for the weekend is to go to calling hours for a friend's father tonight, tomorrow I will be making oatmeal cookies (for the office birthday party on Monday), Sunday - no plan. More snow is predicted for Monday. Sister #4 asked if we were planning a get together for sister #1's visit, her birthday and our father's birthday while sister #1 is home. Guess I better get planning for that...people are just not "getting" that I need Spring to come before I get geared up! So I guess it is good they keep pushing me. I do need to start my income tax filing process...
Therapeutic dose of Advil kept my knee going yesterday. That is THE wonder drug in my eyes. I am glad a doctor I went to once gave me that "therapeutic dose" terminology.
Do need to plan for more car scrapping time this a.m., so better get going.
