In North Carolina

Didn't know how to safe pictures on my friends' computer but I was going to put up a I95 road sign as that was the biggest part of my day yesterday. This weekend went as planned and all is good. I drove into Brooklyn on Saturday. Met sister #3's new dog and cat, went for a great walk up to the Brooklyn library and my usual wander - 7th Avenue to Union to Prospect Park, back down 3rd St to 5th Avenue back to around to 3rd, and went to the show at PS 24 (I think that was the number) where my son was working. It was good to see him and the show was good. I gave him his Valentine's card, wished him happy new company and went back to my sister's.

Sunday morning I was up and out by 9 a.m. and off to North Carolina. I went through Staten Island, over the Verrazano Bridge (a VERY big bridge!!!) and stopped at the first NJ Turnpike rest stop for full service, cheap gas service. I did not stop again until I stopped for gas in Chapel Hill, North Carolina at 6:47 p.m. Took me a bit longer than I thought it would but I was going pretty slow. Then a great visit and dinner with my host and hostess #1.

I am having a problem figuring out where to start on my visits. Checked the Newman Center on UNC's campus but no daily mass on Monday. I will go by tomorrow at 4:45 p.m. before my dinner date. I am going to head in to campus to see what is going on. It was strange driving into my old life yesterday. I am still trying to figure out why I do this. Most do not do this "re-entry and removal" process as much as I do

Well, better get back on my journey.
