Good book club

even without reading all of the book, it was a good book club. Great group of people and I think I will need to re-try to read the book after the work crunch is over. I also want to see if I can find the author and her husband in Brooklyn NY. They must be an interesting couple to say the least. I guess the themes were more than I could take at this point in time - man afraid to die alone living a lifelong solitary life, never being able to be with the love of his life, uncomfortable with people but uncomfortable without...better spend a few more minutes with the light box this a.m.

Slipped over for a few minutes of the JV and Varsity basketball games between work and book club before I left campus last night. The Varsity team is doing very well.

More snow on the way tonight. We have a reception tonight, so I hope they are predicting a late start to the weather so we can the event over and done.

I do love my light box start to the day routine - I really do think it helps my energy level and I really feel it on my sleep. Great sleeping and great dreaming. Last night it was about Peter Hinman (a classmate from high school) and the fact I had another baby...as I said strong dream sequences. Right before I woke up I had missed a call from my son - I was getting ready to call him back and tell him he finally had a brother...maybe I better stay away from that light box...

Today work, EDA meeting, hope for a walk depending on the snow element. Financial aid files and budget outlines are my focus. Not exactly exhilerating but I like that stuff. Guess I am not too exhilerating. Left a note for my neighbor with a copy of that newspaper article I got from another friend - asking her if she wants to go to the school dance program with me on Thursday and then go out for a drink afterwards. That is the only night this week that will work for an evening out. But I am sure that she will be out with one of her gentlemen callers since it is Valantines Day. I have no such conflict...except in my dreams - literally and figuratively.

Have a good Tuesday.
