Super Duper Tuesday

Primary Tuesday, Fat Tuesday, Bobby Knight hands the reins over to his son Patrick, Clemens in front of Congress, Giants celebration parade in NYC...quite a day. I can't wait to go next door to Town Hall to vote for who I hope will be our next President and on an historical note, our first black president. I think this will be one of the days people remember in their lives. My parents are on board for Obama also. That was encouraging when they shared that on Sunday when Obama people were canvassing their neighborhood on Sunday.

Yesterday my boss' father in law passed away so things were a bit out of order in our office. Boss out, one counselor in NYC doing some last minute interviews, and a "power" couple who were at school interviewing for I am not quite sure what positions. The husband was almost scary, the wife I hear was very good - but we never got to speak with her since time ran out of their day.

Rainy, gray day and looks like it will be DAYS yesterday and the rest of the week. But it is mild which I will take. I did find out at lunch yesterday that we have a "light box" at school which I might have to avail myself of during this grey part of the winter. February is always a hard month during the winter in NE. I am used to Valentine's Day being the latest last day of winter in the places I have lived over the past 30+ years.

I will head to the polls tonight to hear the results announced. Should be exciting. I will be curious to hear the Republican results - my thought is McCain, but don't know if Republicans like the fact that Lieberman is one of his supporters...

Ash Wednesday tomorrow. I will stop at church in the morning tommorrow.

Have a good Tuesday. I am hoping for history today!
