In spite of my brackets...good day

I had a roller coaster ride with the basketball yesterday, but other than that it was a good day. A couple of hours at work, "filled an order" for a key lime pie for my mother (thanks to First and Last restaurant and their great dessert department), did my wash, did some grocery shopping (this no dining hall is killing me), went for a good walk and on the way home ran into some friends and they invited me over for dinner and to watch UCONN and Vanderbilt bust up what was looking like a good day for me.. but all and all that was a good finish to a good day.

But the other good news was my son called and he is back in NYC but will be staying put for the weekend. But it was good that he was home from his adventures safe and sound. I still don't know where he is living, but he did not seem to be troubled by any part of his situation.

Today - I am going to swing by work, go for a walk and then off to the Hartford Library for a book discussion of Maltese Falcon since I missed our town discussion. This could all change if I hear from sister #4 that she is heading up early, but we will cross that bridge later.

Have a good Saturday.
