May Day, May Day - Rabbitt, Rabbit

I have done my Rabbit, Rabbit mantra for the first day of the month and my cosmic guidance says - "keep it down" - if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything...it should be a quiet day for me. I stayed at the office until 8 p.m. yesterday - I got the first word of a couple of projects that needed to be out by Friday...and with my historical museum tonight and tomorrow night and all day on Saturday, I thought I better get ahead of the game. I still have some reports to do for my boss this morning. She can't wait until our new leader is on board and either can all of us on staff. She is in way over her head no matter that she has the Harvard master's degree behind her.

My Friday night plans changed - no trip to Old Lyme. My co-worker is on the interview path as she prepares to move on. But that will work out well by letting me work tonight and tomorrow to get ready for the museum tag sale on Saturday.

Not sure what else I am thinking about today - asking my landlord to decrease my rent; car shopping for next weekend; Obama campaign needs; summer vacation going to be here before I know it; friends from NC passing through town on May 14...mind is busy, so maybe "quiet" is a good mantra for day.
