vacation begins

Arrived at the beach and everything seemed a bit older than I remembered, but then again...so am I. Saturday morning was packing, then I went for a walk, got sidetracked from my schedule by stopping to chat along my way walk, and then up and down my stairs (why did I take a walk?...) then off to the parents for my send off and supply check. Got to the beach and got a nice welcome from the beach cottages' owner who took over from his father.

I moved everything in and headed to the water - a very quick walk. Then I decided I had to go swimming. The water is still cold, but that is how I like my saltwater. I was the only one in the water. Then a walk on the beach, then church, then sitting outside the cottage to read for awhile. It started to rain just in time to go to bed (after I baked brownies for company I expect on Sunday).

Off to Soundview this a.m. for donuts. A standard from "back in the day". Don't know if I will buy any, but I need to go to Soundview and smell them at least. Last night you could tell what beach had the action - Soundview. Somethings do not change.

I am discovering how my computer can be "my TV". Never tried that before.

Not sure what the day holds...
