140 MPH on my speedometer and the lap belt!!! I am very happy - I like my car more everyday.
The day went well too. I was a bit grouchy in the a.m., but the day came together perfectly with a great end. A great hour long walk around campus after work then a leisurely paddle in the town pool and home in time for the NewsHour! Still not 20-something or blonde but a good day nonetheless for the 50-something, greying. (I am perplexed about the spelling of blonde and grey?)
I made some progress in getting caught up with the paper hangover from being away and I have a meeting scheduled with the new boss this a.m. We will see what I am thinking after that encounter. I was pleased that my co-worker was feeling good about the new boss. So that is good. What I am thinking is secondary - "leaders" usually let me down after the model I have in my head from the company I worked for in Houston. They were the best and nobody has measured up since then so I make it difficult for my new "leaders".
Have an idea I am going to work on this weekend. I hope my son got my email. He is key to me getting comfortable with this project.
Have a great holiday weekend. I need to look back and see where my 4th weekend took me last year. I have no memory bank...
