Had some starts and stops at work, showed up at the Book Club a week early (the second Tuesday meeting night got bumped around with the Veterans' Day Monday or Tuesday holiday issue), walked at work so did not walk up and down from Library - not a stellar day, but it worked. I loved my new walking shoes. Do have to return the other pair - they got a bit too comfortable first day out and then I looked closely and they were "W" - will take them back tonight and they will look for the "non-W" version.
Talked to sister #4 about what she was going to have for Thanksgiving. I am thinking the plan for her to host me and the folks is still in play. Still not sure about sister #5.
I think I am ready for the Open House. Brother is taking mother to her appointment so that is good. I will take the Friday appt if needed.
I have been completely unable to get into DWTS's this season. A good thing I guess. I got in bed to read my book instead.
Spoke with mother yesterday. She seemed to have a good day. Sister #3 may be headed back up this weekend.
Co-worker, soccer coach called last night to say that her team wanted to get dressed up like Indians today as a pep item for the big game tomorrow - they are in the New Englands. I said that I would hate to throw water on their spirit, but I don't know if that would be a good thing for open house day. I went to a high school who had "Warriors" for a mascot and they have had nothing but issues with the depiction and/or wording...I told her my vote was no. We will see what she told the girls.
I am headed in early this a.m. I like to get my area (registration desk) set up before anyone gets there. Good weather day - always good news for Open House Day.
Twisted my back watering office plants yesterday. I can lift a car one day, but get twisted reaching into the sink with the watering can...Advil is my friend.
Have a good Tuesday. There is a webcast of a program at UNC tonight. I hope I get home in time to watch it.
