Family withdrawal weekend

Sister #1 took care of matters herself and got a air/car deal with US Air so no pick up tonight at the airport but getting in late tonight. I will call the parents, but I am hoping they will not require my services tonight. Then I will let Sister #1 take the weekend and Sister #4 said she will be up at some point. I am going to get a walk in today and reunion tomorrow and no plan for Sunday. Sister #3 is gone, so I don't have to deal with her "disappointment" in me not wanting to spend more time with my parents. I have shared with her that if she feels that their safety and well being is directly impacted because someone is not sitting with them every minute, then we need to take advantage of home health aide offers or get them into assisted living. But she says no to those two choices. I will talk more with the parents after she is back in NYC.

Got an invite to meet people for dinner last night that I passed on when I heard sister #3 was not returning to NYC until this morning but I am glad I did. It was pouring rain at 6:30 p.m. when I would have been traveling to meet them and I was looking forward to leaving my parents, watching the NewsHour, coming home, taking a bath, reading my book.

My challenge for next week is to start planning after work/walk activities. The exercise level has to increase. I meant to skip out for a minute after lunch yesterday, I will try to remind myself today. It is 60 degrees in November! I missed the good weather in October so I don't want to miss this bonus days in November.

Boss is still out of the office so I am happy. We will see how next week goes. Luckily she leaves again at the end of next week.

I really need to get new shoes this weekend!

"Hope people at the reunion like me!"

Have a good Friday!
