Not a social Friday

Had a meeting at school at 7 a.m., then take the parents to mother's doctor appt, then start my work day over again. I went for my walk after work. Good thing after two days off. I skipped a school wine & cheese and Collinsville Champagne Christmas. I did go over to the candy store to see if they had any neat crafts in the non-candy section of the store.

Having trouble getting into my book, The Shack. I think I am missing Ann Patchett's work and might have to switch back and finish the last one I have of hers to read.

I am off to work this a.m. Going to take advantage of the detention students to help with my project. Then to Northampton to pick up my niece's stuff. Then back to the parents to drop off the stuff and I hope run into one of my cousins and his daughter. We will see how the timing falls.

Tomorrow it is count money at church and then I got my "instructions" last night as to where to meet the old roommate's adventure group - I-91 and 218 commuter parking lot.

I am not doing very well trying to shake things up after all the good advice I got when I was in NC...
