Big game last night!

At least in my mind. My friend's son got sick, so no swim meet to go to so I decided to head to Torrington for my niece's basketball game. I enjoy her team, her coach and their fans - not a trifecta that happens very often with a successful team. And sitting there talking basketball with my brother is a plus.

My book club went well on Monday night. Most panned the book for being "too much" - flowery, too much description, "too" of a lot - but I loved it because it was all about doing the next best thing, living with a destiny, and a happy ending. I am moving on to To Kill a Mockingbird for March. Most of the book events for that book will take place when I am gone, but I do want to read this book again regardless.

No fights at the budget meeting after the Book Club. The Republican Registrar was our spokesperson. We will let him think he is in charge...

Got the OK that my massage schedule will work for the massage lady - March 4, April 1, May 6, June 3. That will get me through until the town pool opens and I can start going there after work.

Planning for my UCONN basketball trip for Sunday. Pre game pizza at Willington Pizza then take a walk around campus then get to the fieldhouse in time to watch the warm ups. Don't have the same detailed plan for Saturday, but I still feel drawn to URI on Saturday. Spending Valentine's Day with Coach Majerus is a dream...too bad he will not know that I am there. Oh well.

Got rejected on my offer of volunteering 10-20 hours per week at another private school. I still have an offer out to another school to see if they could use an extra set of hands. Keep a good thought for that.

Have a good Wednesday. Beautiful skies this week - as I shared with a friend earlier today - it is all about the "cosmic" this week.
