No snow or rain falling from the sky, 40+ degrees and sun - it was a good day. I put in my time counting money at church, then off to work for a few minutes, then back home to take a walk. Ran into my 6th grade teacher's daughter; a classmate who just ran and won a position as a State Representative; and found some "heart worry stones" at a local store that I had to buy for some friends. Also hit the town library on my walk to do a quick read of the NY Times.
Right now, I am looking out my window and getting the first glimpse of bright sky some green - amidst the snow banks. I am feeling that the winter will not last forever. These seasons really try to trick me!
Something every night this week into next weekend so I am going to curl up tonight with my new book.
Monday - Book Club and town meeting
Tuesday - Friend's son's swim meet at the Miss Porter's pool
Wednesday - Registrar of Voters weekly meeting
Thursday - Winter Play at school
Friday - niece's basketball game
Saturday - URI vs St Louis (keep a good thought that I can walk up and buy a ticket on game day...)
Sunday - UCONN vs Pitt women's game on UCONN campus
Week to look forward to - let's hope the weather cooperates for all the travel. Have a good week.
