It worked

My first day back at work "worked". I drove over, but brought my car home at lunch time. I can pick up mail at the town hall in the a.m. and take it at night on foot. Friends sent beautiful flowers, so that caused a stir. Need to go to the BOS meeting tonight to see how the the search for my new boss is coming along.

Weather is beautiful. Need to get into a rhythm with being out and about. Wandered for about two hours after work last night. Had to get to the library to read the papers. Think I will do that at lunch time today. Again, need to see how my days unfold.

It does feel good being back at work on some levels. Day 2 begins in an hour or so.

As to the world - it is going to be hard getting focus on governmental issues with the Tiger Woods' announcement...
