Beautiful day weather wise and lots of good information for me to move forward with as I adjust my life a bit. I like my new VSW boss and think he likes me. Will give this next year a shot in the arm which I need.
Other than that meeting, the balance of the day put me a bit on edge, but not in a bad way. I just could not hold back my opinions. Nothing new, but I think it was a bit loud at one point in the day. But I also think it was just what I needed to make me look at the change happening in my life as just the right thing at just the right time.
After VSW, regular work and ROV meeting, I walked up to the pool to soak my head a bit and switch gears. BUT the weatherman mentioned we are losing a minute a day of the daylight from here on out. If I did not have this new lease on my VSW, I might have put more thought into moving again. But also loving my apartment is also a problem in getting me to get all over that option. Always something.
Today, regular work and off to a friend's kids' camp event. Husband "conveniently" cannot attend (last year he had a similar situation - how convenient) but he knows I love to go. I will hope to get the pool or at least a walk in after OR a beer at Crown and Hammer with my friend. We will see what her schedule is post event.
Better get going. Feeling an urgency to get some major work done at regular work - just in case I get to pull the plug on that deal. As always, I am feeling like a lucky girl AGAIN.
Post surgery text from my son "surgery over leg still there". Isn't that all a mother should need to know after a son's ankle plate and pin surgery? He and I are an interesting combination. He is the reason I was put on this earth.
