"A new moon in your sign is a firm promise of better days ahead. The most important thing now is that you believe you are capable of anything, for the one thing that could hold you back is self-doubt."
As always it was great to be by the water but it was also good for me to be away from town and with old friends. A nice highlight was finding a very "Hill-Stead like" place to see Highfield Hall. Life back in the day had a bit more depth and texture than our lives of today - just my opinion.
It looks like I should work on changing my opinion about what I should or should not be doing. I don't want to lose any more golden opportunity moments! (Especially at my advanced/advancing as we speak age!)
VSW Saturday morning, went home to back and say good bye to my departing sister, then off to the Cape. Got there at 2 p.m. and wandered the Main Street, had tea and chowder, and then wandered the beach. BUT then the calmness ended and the 8 of us had a lobster/steamer dinner and celebrated two of us reaching our 60th year. The rest is "what happened in Falmouth, stays in Falmouth". Sunday was another day of wandering and that is when we went to Highfield Hall - family estate of the Beebes. Great walk and great spot. Passed the Cape Cod Curling Club on the way. Life is interesting in this world.
Woke up this am and headed home, no regular work, but at VSW as we speak. Two friends stopping by at my house tonight on their way to visit family in S CT. So one more night of too much food. Hope to get a walk in before I move on to dinner, but I am not going to go out of my way. Tomorrow starts my Winter 2012-13 routine. We will see how that goes.
Have a good rest of the Monday.
