Good cosmic guidance as I have a "conflict resolution" project this a.m.  Keep a good thought for me that I keep it to "just the facts". 

Yesterday was a good day.  Productive day from top to bottom with a great ending at Francesca's for dinner with my long standing friend who has known me since I was 4 yrs old...talk about a cross to bear.  A very nice thing is that the restaurant is right across the street from both our apartments so no cars, just walk over to dinner.  My timing work - regular work, VSW, treadmill at VSW, in the back door of my apartment at 6:54 p.m., out the front door at 6:59 p.m. and got to dinner at the appointed time of 7 a.m.  Feel a bit guilty as so many struggle post Sandy.  Another report from the shelter one of my sisters is working at.  One niece working with NCCC might be headed back from CA to work in NY/NJ.  Ironic since she just left the east coast making the mental adjustment to be on the west coast for the next 18 months. 

Lots to do at VSW now that we are back on real electricity not generator.  I don't know what I would be feeling if I was on the coast of CT or NY/NJ and are looking at days or weeks away from having electricity and no way to get to work or somewhere where there is electricity. 

Election day will be OK here in my town, but not so much on the coast. 

Have a good Friday.  Sister #4 is taking care of the parent chores this weekend.  I have plenty to do around the apt and VSW.  Phone calling on Sunday to remind people to get to the polls.  Linda McMahon was a surprise guest at our town's big halloween parade last Saturday.  Lucky I did not see that out my window...
