"Doctors used to believe that ulcers were caused by stress and spicy foods. But in the 1980s, two researchers named Barry Marshall and Robin Warren began to promote an alternative theory. They believed the culprit was H. pylori, a type of bacteria. To test their hypothesis, Marshall drank a Petri dish full of H. pylori. Within days he got gastric symptoms and underwent an endoscopy. The evidence proved that he and his partner were correct. They won a Nobel Prize for their work. (And Marshall recovered just fine.) I urge you to be inspired by their approach, Libra. Formulate experiments that allow you to make practical tests of your ideas, and consider using yourself as a guinea pig."
"It may now be apparent that someone who acts like a friend is in fact plotting against you but there is no need to get excited about it. What have they so far achieved? Nothing - and that's how it will stay."
Good news that Election Day is over. I am not saying that all is solved, but I do have a deep hope that what needs to be done will be done now that Obama does not ever have to worry about re-election again. We will see what happens. I also feel that Chris Murphy will make it work.
Yesterday I ran over to town hall in my pajamas to turn the coffee on. Then back at 5:15 a.m. to stay until 10:30 p.m. Took awhile for me to wind down. But I have to get back to work at regular work and VSW. I will try my best BUT I have a feeling that I will getting to bed early! I hope that the weather does not cause any issues for my way home from VSW.
Sounds like my sister won her election. I will check her town news this a.m.
Better get going.
