Wednesday

"Reverence is one of the most useful emotions. When you respectfully acknowledge the sublime beauty of something greater than yourself, you do yourself a big favor. You generate authentic humility and sincere gratitude, which are healthy for your body as well as your soul. Please note that reverence is not solely the province of religious people. A biologist may venerate the scientific method. An atheist might experience a devout sense of awe toward geniuses who have bequeathed to us their brilliant ideas. What about you, Libra? What excites your reverence? Now is an excellent time to explore the deeper mysteries of this altered state of consciousness."

"You may be yearning for things you are unlikely to get but over the next two or three days a more realistic attitude will set in. Then, remarkably, you will find that what you desire suddenly comes easily to you."

We have now moved from working on getting mother strong enough to go home to how to deal with pneumonia.  But I don't know how much "dealing" they will be doing.  I made a suggestion last night about getting someone to talk to my father and mother without all the family hysterics around.  I shared with them that I am woefully unprepared for what is ahead.  I can only imagine what is going through my parents' minds.  Mother had a little stroke yesterday morning.  Things are slipping away from us and we all have a lot of "stuff" to deal with.

I will keep the goal in mind that there will be come type of preliminary resolution and I will be able to go on my first vacation in I can't remember when...I truly believe that it will all unfold to me.  I feel like I am walking around - as we speak - in an altered state of consciousness...

Today - work #1,3,2,parents,1,home.  Wild card will be if I get to see my niece and her gentleman caller.  We will see what works for her.

Have a good Wednesday.  Keep a good thought for my mother and father.
