Friday before vacation

"Hot, hazy and humid" - weather words for awhile they say.  I am taking sweatpants and a sweatshirt in my vacation wear.  Think it might be cooler at the water and up north a bit.

Today - work #2, father's, grocery shopping, walk, swim, pack.  Trying to pop the water bubbles in my ears from swimming yesterday.  Feel a bit plugged up as we speak.  Did get the apartment cleaned, clothes washed, packed up some cottage related stuff.  Trying to flash back to when we went to the beach and what we needed to bring.

Sad for me that my sisters planning mother's memorial service at the end of the month has asked my cousin to not participate in the planning meeting tomorrow.  I guess my approach is that the more help and support the better, but not so much with my siblings.  Life is a funny thing.

Keep a good thought for my vacation.  No internet, now cable TV, so not sure how much online writing I will do.  Do have the hours of the local public library - so I am thinking I will sneak over there.  Not sure what to do about the Bachelorette - guess I will just have to let it go and read about it when I get back.  If that is the biggest "loss" that will be fine.

Last day of work for awhile..."lulls" are not comfortable for me.  My situation is self-created so I know it will take me to where I need to go BUT it is always a roller coaster ride in the transition times.
