Vacation Day 3

Working off my neighbor/landlord's internet connection...  Very liberating since I have no phone signal.  I left my phone in the car this a.m.  There seems to be some connection up there so I will see if anyone is reaching out.

Lake is beautiful.  I am still trying to figure out this vacation thing.  I will try not to pull stakes and go home.  I did finish one book.  Wharton's.  Not sure which to start next.  It is hard for me to grasp the life of my host and hostess - retirement but in a place that you cannot walk to anything except the lake.  That would be hard for me to get my head around.  But as I sit here with the sun coming up over my shoulder and the water lapping at the shore...I guess if I were married and had no money worry - I could make this work.

But I am along way away from retirement - mentally not chronologically - I can't even be "un-fidgety" for two days.

Going to the water next.  Keep a good thought that relaxation overcomes me.
