Soggy Friday! Sun later today? Fingers crossed.

I was soaked to my underwear by the time I finished my walk yesterday but upside of the day was as I was looking for 2 dollars in change - in my change purse in my car - to buy a lottery ticket today, I found the Tibetan flags sister #6 had given me awhile back...So I put those up so I could see them through my "window on the world" AND I found 2 dollars.  And I watched a WBD episode.  And the latest All-In and watching another as we speak. 

Reading "Travels with George".  Great quote about the author and his wife in the '80's - "not as much fun in Darien as there was in Durham (author was a grad student at Duke)".  I totally ID with CT vs NC as to fun of life.  Great book!

Looks like RFK is having a big speech in PA in October.  Saw a headline with "RFK Jr. will ditch Democratic Party and announce independent run:"  Email this a.m. was about a speech scheduled for Oct - Join me on October 9 in Philadelphia, the birthplace of our independence, for a historic announcement. We will see where it all goes.  

Today - walk to Shoppes.  Buy lottery ticket.  CT LOTTO jackpot won last night.  :/  Oh well.  Will buy a Powerball today.  

Yesterday was a "flip, not turn" mattress quarter.  Got it done without incident.  :)  Also rotated the frame.  I think the flipping and turning has helped keep the mattress "sound" since 2004.  :)
