Day at the beach :)

Wandered Watch Hill for a bit before hitting the beach.  Aphrodite docked there.  Owner of the Ocean House bought it (surprise, surprise - he owns most of the neighborhood/town).  Sister #4 said Frank Sinatra was the type of clientele who were on this boat back in the day.  So the day was some chores around sister #4's house, workmen came to do some outdoor projects.  Sister #6 showed up early for her and we headed out.  Beautiful day and the sun, sea, water were all perfect...on Oct 28  :/  Interesting science fact as to the high tide situation near where the boat is docked - higher than usual and really higher than usual yesterday with the moon event.  Misquamicut Sandwich Shop for "linner". Then back to the house.  Sat on the porch and had a mini-birthday party.  Cupcakes, and two gifts - I was talking about the expensive crackers sister #4 buys and the one egg little pan she has...I got both of them!  I do not like THINGS but I will eat those crackers over the reg saltines I buy to go with soup and egg sandwiches will be much prettier now that the egg will come out very McDonald's shape-ish.  Doesn't take much to make my day.  Sister #6 headed back to the Cape and sister #4 and I walked into town for the town library's pumpkin fest.  Had a vote for most creative and most original pumpkin carvings.  Movie in the park.  But we headed home and sat on the porch and enjoyed the weather some more.  Change in the wind for today - sun and temperature-wise.  Oh well it is Oct 29.  Last night Hallmark Movie filmed in a town I pass through anytime I come to sister #4's.  Too funny.  Aquarium, the bakery, the pizza place featured - I have seen them all.  My NC host husband shared that he thinks the plots are a bit predictable.  :)  But they still suck me in.

Today pancakes and head home after a walk.  TX friend lands Halloween night.  She is staying at the house of another friend who lives in Bermuda for the school year.  Much roomier and warmer than my accommodations.  Works very well.  No decision on Thanksgiving yet...I am always happy to do nothing.  :)

GREAT results for Saturday's UMASS/Navy game!  I will leave my football result at that.  :/

People in New England are resting easier after finding the Maine shooter.

You may want to stay in the good books of your employer or some other important person but don’t just say what you think they want to hear. They will be much more impressed if you tell it like it is with only a minimum of sugar coating.

You may feel like there's a big opportunity waiting for you but your head is too muddled to take advantage of it. Perhaps you're afraid that if you accept this offer now, you'll miss an even better one later. Don't delay. Change is progress. Go after the things that catch your eye and draw you in. These opportunities won't last forever. Stop dreaming and start doing.

Pay attention to the ideas that conjure passion as Mercury and Mars form a celestial union, dear Libra, especially regarding creative projects that might lead to financial gain. Now is also a good time to reward your hard work with new tools to help you execute artistic ideas, feeding your whimsical imagination. You'll crave softness and intimacy as afternoon settles in and the Taurus moon aligns with Venus, putting you in a private mood without losing the desire for connection. Good vibes flow this evening when Luna aligns with Uranus, paving the way for transformational moments.

There are a couple of things I want to "stop dreaming and start doing" about.  AND keep many good thoughts for transformational moments in my future.  Have a good Sunday.
