"packing" day :)

Poem from Lansing last night.  Lots of news from the regular participants - lost people, lost jobs, bike delivery person being hit by a car while "at work".  Hard to use my mantra of "it is what it is".  Not in a head in the sand way but being present to address reality.  Poem was written by the bike rider.  Hmmm...I will think about that on my walk today.

Asked sister #4 if it was OK to show up on her doorstep Friday rather than Saturday.  She said OK.  I want to take advantage of this warm spell and walk on the beach AND get chores done to get her house and yard winter ready.  Finished my chores yesterday here - cleaning apartment.  Yesterday - very little listening.  Half of WBD, CSPAN "vote".  Listening to All-In as we speak.  Will ask sister #1 on her Sunday call to see what she feels about Rep Johnson as she is in the DC beltway. Interesting next in line for President when we have an elderly current office holder... I went for walk with family friend and grandson, swung by the library to drop off Summerly and pick up a Maisie Dobbs.  The two books I wanted to pick up - Johnson and Krueger - both were checked out.  I put a request in on both.  Lansing DC last night. Facilitators did a great job amidst the feelings being shared by many.  And this group skews much younger than most of my DCs.  EOLD lunch time discussion was a new group and not as meaty as usual, but I am glad I was there.

Noticed last night that the light post lightbulbs have been changed out to orange for Saturday night's event.  Also the house across the way is very orange at night.  AND 70 degrees forecast for parade time on Sat... it is going to be wild.  Glad I will be in another state.  :)

Today - walk, pack.  Two emails from CCLD today.  Man, I wish I was closer geographically to this group.  Talk about critical mass of like minded people...

Looked up "best used Mazda to buy" yesterday - just in case.  I will see how this drive to my sister's goes tomorrow.

Was checking my horoscope and got a news feed about Lewiston ME.  Students at Bates College waited anxiously for news under lockdown.  Active shooter overnight... Father's and sister #4's alma mater town.

Your sign has a reputation for indecision that is only partly deserved but today you can and you must get your act together and decide what you are going to do about a money matter of some kind. The longer you leave it the more it will cost you.

Money matters might be tangled today. There could be a delay in receiving funds due you, which could prove frustrating but can be straightened out. This isn't a good day to make investments, buy property, or seek a loan. The strain of dealing with this might cause a few doubts about your money management skills. Don't despair. This is temporary and probably beyond your control.

The moon migrates into Aries and the sector of your chart that governs love, dearest Libra, though a series of difficult aspects could bring more issues than romance. Watch out for hard-headed behaviors within yourself and others, taking care to avoid controversial topics with those who have conflicting views. It will be helpful to ground by connecting with nature if your thoughts begin to cloud, and an unbalanced alignment between Venus and Chiron suggests you'll need more time alone than usual. Physical activity can provide a healthy outlet for pent-up stress or emotions when Mars activates later tonight.

Not sure where my cosmic guidance is taking me...Indecision - no surprise there in my life.  I am going with the temporary and probably beyond my control.  I will look to nature around me (with asphalt still under my feet) for my uplift.  Keep a good thought that I get to where I need to be to keep me on track.  Have a good Thursday.  75 degrees forecast for Oct 26.  I will take it!

PS:  Maine.  Heartbreaking and unsettling.
