Chilly day

The dam at the reservoir is very entertaining for family friend's grandsons.  We met up there for a short walk.  I spun off after that to go cash my poll worker check.  Stopped at the library to "research" William Kent Krueger.  Thought I had "read" him but then the librarian shared that he had a mystery series I did not know about.  I ordered up one when I got back home.  Did not have my library card with me and had a walk ahead of me so picking up a book at that point in my day did not make sense.  In prep for going to sister #4's and then #6's on Wednesday, I cleaned the apartment.  

Yesterday's listening - BTV, Rich Roll, Prof G, finishing up latest WBD this a.m.  Could not get through latest Random with Oliver Stone.  Too much.  :)  

News from sister #1 re #3:  Last night #3 was returning from retrieving something from the car and fell. In an attempt to break the fall she landed on her right arm…. Appearing to break her right wrist. ER put it in a splint and took a few x-rays. Tomorrow off to orthopedic surgeon. So more details will be known. Sibling #3 cannot seem to catch a break!!! Pretty much unable to do MANY tasks.  Our generation of siblings is having a rough year...  

Today - dishwasher, wash clothes, pack. Short list for Shoprite. Gas up car. Walk, pick up book at library on home stretch.  1 p.m. CA DC.  No IOWA tonight for me.  No EOLD or Lansing tomorrow.

Need to get an email off to son.  Need to get my head around getting together before he heads to Greece in Spring 2024 for a bit.  Want to check in with sister #1 to see if she is going to be leaving her condo empty for a stretch of time over the winter if she is going sailing in the Caribbean.
