CT to RI to MA to RI complete. Today RI to CT with a stopover at Vito's pizza to meet up with cousins I have not seen in person in years... We will see how that goes. Then HOME. Can't wait. :) Yesterday we took a walk to downtown Hyannis. Craft fair going on. We missed the walk and talk tour of the Kennedy Museum that they had for the JFK anniversary. Then back home for a leftover lunch, then back to RI. No traffic jams so far for all travel. Lots of awkward conversations about the 2024 nuptials of niece #4. It will be what it will be but I could not believe that sister #6 turned down money from the groom's family - who would not even miss it AND a friend of hers shared with her how to get the money out of her retirement money...easy for the friend to say as her husband died leaving her very well taken care of. The decision remains for the bride's father not to be informed of the event. Sad to me.
Son texted me that I could worry less about his road trip back to Florida for an extend-o stay because he has some company who will go with him until Atlanta and then fly back from there. He does know his mother. He is not a driving kind of guy. Never had a car until he was over 30. Living in big cities or overseas...not a thing. :) I am glad he will have company on many levels. Detroit to Nashville to Atlanta to Florida. Most in Tarpon Springs, he does have to go to Art Basel for a few days.
Heard from 3 former school #1 co workers - one whose daughter who goes to UNC but is spending a semester in Ecuador and was on her way to Cuenca for the weekend, TX friend who was crossing back into US after a camping in MX Thanksgiving-an annual thing for many years.
So today - lunch, home, walk if enough light, and settle back in to no plans December. And I am happy to be at sister #4 with my hot pot for my travel instant coffee. It is those little things. Another little thing - enjoying my latest Krueger. Didn't read much on Cape, but will catch up this week.
Don’t shut yourself away from the world this weekend, get out there and get your message across. You have a huge amount of wisdom to offer and it would be selfish of you not to show people how to do more and how to do better.
Deep-seated emotions will feel bigger in the very early hours, dear Libra, as the Taurus moon and Jupiter join forces. Pay attention to any dreams that left an impression on you, as they could give information on how to transform and where to commit your energy. A demand for perfection could lead to unhealthy discussions with yourself and others as Mars and Saturn square off, making it important that you maintain reasonable expectations. You'll have the power to evolve through quick decision-making later tonight when Luna crosses over Uranus, bringing a cleansing and revolutionary energy your way.
Pursue the topics that interest you. No matter how esoteric or strange, give yourself the luxury of following an interest that could turn into a passion. It's possible that your studies will lead you to join a group of like-minded people. Some of them may become lifelong friends.
Plan is wheels up at 10 a.m. 4:39 a.m. as we speak. On my coffee course of my breakfast. Having second meal at noon-ish will front load my eating again today...looking forward to getting back on "feeding schedule" tomorrow. :) Cosmic guidance about cleansing and revolutionary energy, power to evolve...bring it on! Also looking forward to CA/OH DC on Sunday, ZEN on Monday, EOLD on Wednesday, Lansing on Saturday. Another "feeding schedule" I am looking forward to getting back on. Another schedule - need to schedule a trip to a wrestling match at former school #1 and varsity basketball at #2. Noon and 8 p.m. today for football of interest. Need a win for both. I have let Colorado go for this season. :)
Have a good Saturday. Glad I write this everyday so I can reinforce to myself what day of the week it is. Happy Saturday after Thanksgiving 2023.
