Trying to recover! :)

What a day!  15+ hours on my feet at the polls.  Need to check but may have been a high for percentage turnout for a non presidential election.  I need to look at the results to see if unofficial from last night held.  I had a fun time responding to people who asked "Are you the lady who walks everywhere?"  "Are you a _______ (my family name)?  With 5 siblings there were a lot of people who came through who said "I went to school with ______"  Fun but long day BUT the town really needs to get a younger poll worker group.  :)

So yesterday - I woke up, had my coffee, got to the polls by 5:30 a.m., worked, got home around 9 p.m., took a shower and to bed!  I will try to work the kinks out with a good walk today.  Listening to the news this a.m.  See what happened in elections elsewhere.

We will see if I check off everything on my list. I can't wait to get outside!
