Countdown

I will try to keep calm and just step-by-step to get to Thursday a.m. take off.  Travel is not an easy road for me.  If my son was not at the other end of the trip, I would be staying put.  :)  Did get a call from niece #1 that she is headed my way in early February.  Nice surprise.  Watched the rest of this week's All-In, and a Prof G.  Watched a Heartland.  Talked to sisters #1,4,6.  #1 had landed in LA.  Lobby for her hotel was on the 70th floor, then down to the 37th to her room.  #4 was commiserating that she broke her health kick since her stomach surgery and had baked brownies and ate the coconut patties #6 had gotten her for Christmas...  MOHS wound has still not healed completely.  Another check-up in 2 weeks.  #6 has a cold, but was watching football and thought of my son's Detroit connection and the good performance for the Lions.  Quite the wait.  Son was in "enemy territory" being close to Tampa.  

A few more phone calls to make today to address my pending to-do list.  Finished my latest Krueger this a.m.  Will return it on my walk today.  Will not order any more up until after I get back.  Have two books now from landlady - the McBride and another - The Death of a President.  ZEN DC tonight.
