Interesting day

People were searching for their "land line" phones yesterday.  Sister #6 had to navigate without her cellphone talking her through directions.  Luckily she knows the route but no info taking her through spots were she would have normally went to "alternate route".  Interesting reminder of what life was like "back in the day".  But everyone made it here and we headed to the reservoir for a walk, then to Little Oak Cafe for lunch with family friend who I walk with.  She is much closer in age to sister #4 and her sister was close in age to her younger sister so I heard stories I had never heard before.  Very fun lunch.  We "closed down" the cafe lunch hour at 3 p.m.  Sisters headed out.  Sister #4 brought homemade lemon squares.  Landlady dropped off cookies for the sisters.  BUT luckily sisters #4, 6 do not like "fruit items" in their cookies so when they saw the cranberry bits they left them all for me!!!  Good day all along.  And I got to have a favorite sandwich at LOC.

Not a nice weather day this a.m.   Rainy.  I will keep the thought that the rain will break in time for a later walk.  W&T rescheduled from last Saturday to tomorrow.  TX friend said she might head back to TX from NM.  We will see. Sunday ME CA DC, CA DC.

Today read and walk.  Did the delayed watch of Chicago fire and pd.  :)  Will do blue bloods in the a.m.  Had forgotten how long "regular" TV took to restart their seasons.  I am thinking I am one of the few who still watch "regular" TV shows.  :)

Shared with one of my neighbors about a PC program with speakers with Philippines 1 - the first group to that country back in the 60's.  One of the speakers lives in the CCRC where my brother works.  Small world.

Don’t listen to people who are always complaining that fate is unkind and that they never seem to get the breaks. That’s a really poor excuse for failure. Everyone has opportunities to get ahead in life and you have more than most at the moment.

This morning you might look in the mirror and be horrified at what you see, Libra. You've been working hard and are stressed out, so you probably look tired. You're apt to blow it all out of proportion, however, and think you look a lot worse than you actually do. Treat yourself to some new clothes and a walk, and then get some rest. Tomorrow you'll probably look as terrific as ever. Hang in there.

You may feel as though no one around you can keep it together, dear Libra, as the Leo moon forms an unbalanced connection with Neptune before heading void of course. This cosmic climate brings a lackluster and foggy energy to the table, making it important to grant others and yourself some extra leeway. Now may also be a good time to take a social media breather, as posts may not perform as well. You'll continue to crave solitude throughout the weekend once the moon enters Virgo this evening, marking the perfect excuse to lay low and seek peace.

Lay low and seek peace.  Sounds like a good approach to every day.  :)  Have a good Friday.  Sounds like nobody is having connectivity issues this a.m.  I will hope that we all had an opportunity to think about connectivity on a deeper level as I did yesterday.
