Waiting for "bat signal" from niece :)

Picture from the water today.  More Weeki Wachee.  :)  Yesterday heard from son.  He and some friends were headed to DeFuniak Springs.  Traveling with him never take you to the normal stops along the road.  On March 4, 1881 the Florida State Legislature incorporated the Pensacola and Atlantic Railroad. As the survey party set out from Pensacola to survey the route for the railroad, they happened across an open area with a round lake. The party camped on the shores of the lake and their leader, W D. Chipley, declared this would the perfect spot for a town and ordered the virgin forest not be cut around this spot and a stop would be made along the line here. The location as named after Frederick DeFuniak, president of the Pensacola and Atlantic Railroad. First known as Lake DeFuniak the name was later changed to DeFuniak Springs. Don't know where he searches to find these spots. What a guy.

Me - walk and read.  Heard from son, niece about her stopover on Saturday and my former school #2 boss about "clearing my calendar" for the dance program a week from today.  :)  Watched a PIVOT episode talking to a crypto guy.  Over my head, but helps to understand what is happening in "parallel universes" in the world.  Head is clearing from my germ exposure in the plane travel.  Did my monthly report.  Feel good that I cleaned up some stuff.  I will let go of much of my "shoulda, coulda, woulda" over the decades but I know I am on sounder ground than many my age.  BUT also light years away from others - like sister #1...  18 months apart, but million$ apart.  :)  Oh well.  Good CT DC yesterday.  Glad I reconnected with that group.  Will see if niece's visit and Lansing DC will co-exist or conflict.  I will not take time away from niece but we will see.

Today - we will see.  I will hope to see a glimpse of sun...none since I got back from Florida but this weekend is supposed to shine.

If a friend says something you find a bit insulting today don’t make an issue of it. Most likely they don’t mean to be cruel, they are just trying to put into words what they feel to be true. They may even have something worthwhile to say.

Take a moment to appreciate your health and home this morning, dear Libra, as Mercury and Neptune share a sweet exchange. No matter where you're at in terms of personal progress, now is the time to acknowledge how far you've come, thanking yourself for showing up each day. Your nurturing qualities shine through when the Scorpio moon blows a kiss to Venus, and you may feel called to demonstrate love through home-cooked meals, small gifts, or other kind acts. Watch out for insecurities or the mismanagement of money later today when the quarter moon rises to stir tensions.

Is your imagination brimming over with ideas for new projects, Libra? Are you drawing upon old memories for inspiration? Your past can be a very fruitful resource; however, today you may find that some of these recollections make you feel more emotional than you should. Let them all go. This is a necessary release. Channeling your feelings into creative work could prove cathartic. By the end of the day you should feel great. Go with the flow.

I will look ahead to the day.  Keep a good thought that I keep making progress - mentally, physically and emotionally.  :)  Have a good Friday.
