Woke up this morning thinking I was going to be writing about Sunday...oops, it is Tuesday already. I was doing some listening yesterday that let my mind float away - Prof G, Rich Roll, another Collum. NE FL DC last night. Very thoughtful group in the room. Found out about a new book - Collected Regrets of Clover and when I looked that up it lead me to Tom Lake by Ann Patchett. And this note: Probing, clever, and hopeful, The Collected Regrets of Clover is perfect for readers of The Midnight Library and Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine as it turns the normally taboo subject of death into a reason to celebrate life. I did like The Midnight Library and Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine. I have to check back and see if I have read Eleanor.
Pulled the shorts out for my walk yesterday. Not sure they will stay out for the balance of the week. Too much rain in the forecast. Nothing on my calendar today - so Shoprite and dishwasher and washing machine are my ahead. Did schedule a follow up interview with the U of Ottawa people doing the study of Death Cafes. They reached back out after last Friday's group focus group. Monday at 10 a.m. Hope I am sharp after "fall back, spring ahead". :)
Got my state tax refund but by check not direct deposit...will run that by the bank on my Shoprite run. No bank in town so I need to go a bit out of my usual travel range to get it done. :) Missed a call from TX friend when I was at DC last night. Will reach out today.
