Well, that was one start to a day...

Well waking up.  Reading for one cup of coffee's worth.  Off to my "office" to get on my machine and NADA!  Power button was "lit" but screen was black.  So being 5 a.m. my outreach options were limited...to none.  So I went into overdrive thinking of how the day was going to go.  As a preclude - I had called the dentist yesterday.  I can't tell but an back, upper tooth feels that it might have a bit of a crack.  So I do not visit doctors, but I do visit dentists.  "Take care of your feet and your teeth and the rest will follow".  So I debated as to whether to let it wait until it went from dull ache to sharp pain, but I hate to let it go from a amalgam patch to something that would require more...which most of the choices I would not avail myself of.  So I will wait to hear back as to whether my dentist has any openings.

So what my plan was - call computer guy when he opened at 8 a.m.  Drop off computer and pick up loaner from senior center.  Walk.  Watch the Chicagos from last night.  

But now - the computer guy pushed two buttons and I am firing on all cylinders again.  Home and typing by 8:54 a.m.  No word from dentist yet.  Computer guy did say that I only have until Summer 2025 for this "machine".  Had to smile hearing that news.  

Yesterday - can't remember right off the bat.  Distractions this a.m.  BUT one thing this a.m. got me thinking about is I am NOT as organized or sorted out as to what is where as I thought.  Need to work on that - again.  So now it is 9:01 a.m. and I have to revisit my morning routine of word work.

I will go with "pace yourself".  Once my machine fired back up I felt that I was "behind"!  Behind on what?  I am "special" for sure.  Specially nutty. 

Wrote this to my PD buddy once I was back on the machine wagon:  Even with all my whining...I do have a pretty solid group of supporters around me.  Sort of an "eclectic" group, but I am sure a lucky gal.  The computer guy just smiles when I pull up....I have a tendency to make mountains out of my computer molehills.  PD buddy response was:  Did you turn it on?  People do know me.  :)  

Have a good Thursday.  We will see where the cosmos takes me from here.  

PS:  Can't get into my dentist until next Wed.  I will keep fingers crossed for a cancellation.  What a day.  Bundling up now to head out for my walk.
