Great "linner"

Seasons picture hit me this a.m.  More talk about it as sister #4 and I wandered a bit between "linner" and when she headed to the lacrosse game.  I passed on the game.  Yesterday - walk, "linner" at Beau's Burger Shack.  I had my shrimp po'boy.  Sister #4 had her first whole belly clams since her second hip/stomach surgery...  It appears to have gone well.  I will check in with her today to make sure that remained the same.  Sister #6 gave me two book recs.  One I had read (Post), another I will look up.  The woman with the blue star, The magnificent life of Marjory Post.  I shared with her that TRUST has really caught me AND I am very glad I had seen that review that said "after the first 100 pages" things change...and that it did.  

I am a bit anxious about my role in Sister #4 upcoming stomach procedure..."What if's" running wild.  She has wedding shower, her college reunion, starting her summer job...Fingers crossed that this all stays simple.  (insert praying hands emoji)

Listening to All-In as we speak.  Lansing DC this a.m.  Then I will walk.  Tomorrow race transport task. 

Got a call from NC friend who had a stroke when I was there in early April.  I am so sad hearing him but hearing his voice is a step forward in wondering how things were going.  I left a message for his wife.  

Also got pictures from son!!! Not the usual tourist pic, but Hot Dog "art" in NYC.  :)  Let us be frank, we kind of love this new sculpture in Times Square: a 65-foot-long hot dog in a bun drenched in mustard that launches confetti in the air every day at noon. When it comes to outdoor art, this is by far the oddest sculpture we've seen around town in the last few months.  Don't know if he is still there or home by now.
