Long wander yesterday

Sunny day yesterday.  Shoprite. Dishwasher. Clothes.  Left to meet family friend at 9:30 a.m. got home from walking at 12:30 p.m.  Beautiful walk.  Met friend at Community Center to vote on town budget.  Saw this a.m. that the vote was "NO".  Hmmm...not sure what is next.  Heard from sister #1's gentleman caller.  He got the pictures of his card.  And he enjoyed the Prof G TED I sent sister #1.  

Watching Blue Bloods from last Friday as we speak.  Today EOLD and Lansing.  Skill Share for Nervous System Support.  Will see if weather lets family friend and I get our walk in.  Yesterday we took the grandson to the town park as part of the post budget voting.  I think I got all I needed for sister #4's visit next week for her procedure.  Scares me but I can't figure out why people get "procedures" but I will support the best I can.  Next Tuesday and the day in the hospital will be a long day for me.

Heard from brother yesterday.  NC friend who had a stroke is not doing so well.  Brother wanted me to know that his home was open if I was headed their way.  They are off to Bermuda for their 40th wedding anniversary at the end of May for a week.  I will see if travel comes into my future.  

From my Daily Stoic...  And so must we, whether we’re born rich or poor, the simpler our lives the better. What we need is within us. Who we are has nothing to do with our stuff or what’s in our bank account. Certainly these material things are not the path to peace or happiness.  I think the world is getting my attention.  Let's see where it leads me.
