Parade practice :)

Too funny.  Bear sighting at the high school caused a delay in the departure for the parade practice of the high school marching band for the Mem Day parade.  Family friend and her grandson and I went on our regular walk then we headed to the community center to wait for the band to come marching into the parking lot for a song and then march back to the high school.  I had to spin off after they got to the CC, I was hoofing it back to the apt for the noon EOLD discussion.  Full morning.  Reached out to family pastor friend.  His grand daughter was on in the drum line?  Landlord's grandson waved to me as we walked to watch the parade.  Small town. :)

So cleaned apt, walk, parade, EOLD discussion.  Headed back to community center for Board of Selectmen to hear about budget that did not pass last time around.  Next vote June 4.  I am so not enamored with the process.  At some point - start with -0- to build a budget.  Can't just be looking at "percentage" increase off old numbers.  Oh well.  

Street sweeping started early this morning on Main to get ready for Mem Day parade.   :)

Today - Shoprite for the Mem Day specials.  Sent an email to brother this a.m.  Where he works is coming up to its 20 years after first residents moved in...  What is the game plan for the next 5.  Sort of like listening to the budget talk last night.  Time for -0- based budgeting/staffing.  World has changed a lot in the last 20 years.  Can't AI care of people who are in their last quarter of life.  

Smiling at the womanizing, illegitimate child "themes" of my latest Isaacson.  BF is another smart, not smart man.  :)
