Energy was back on Saturday :)

Felt very generational in the wedding shower room yesterday.  Beautiful place, and luckily across the street from the Florence Griswold Museum and I wandered the grounds until sister #4 called me and said she was at the Inn.  The generational came from the aunt generation versus the nieces generation.  We are on the way out, they are on the way up.  And most of the aunt generation will not be around to see them go from 30-50.  :)  I am not of one mind with their vision for the future but that is the way it is and has been forever.   

So the day.  I headed out early as Main St Festival was gearing up.  Got to the coast.  Wandered the museum, bridal shower.  Headed home to the festival still going on.  Had to wind around to get to my parking spot with Main St closed down to traffic.  So at 4:30 ish I headed out with my bathing suit in hand and took my usual Saturday walk to Shoppes with a stop at the town pool on the way.  Nobody was in the lap lane so I jumped in.  I was a very "pretty" picture walking home in my bathing suit outfit.  :)  Got home and took a great shower and crawled into bed to continue with CJ Box.  Day got back on track after what did not work for me at shower.  Another part of this wedding event and the lead up that is costing too much money, "show" and angst.  

Very glad this is the 3rd week of the month.  PA DC, CA DC and IOWA DC on Tuesday, EOLD and first aqua fitness class Wednesday, Massage Thursday, Completed Life Initiative Symposium on Thursday and Friday.  I feel peace and calm washing over me as we speak.  :)

If you want to move up in the world then the events of the next few days will reveal the new direction you should be moving. You may have to give up on an old ambition that is clearly no longer possible but the sacrifice will be worth it.
