"went" to Detroit last night :)

I was completely taken by the replay of Thursday night's concert at Michigan Central.  Son let me know that it was being replayed when I sent him the Sunday tech email.  He was there. I also was completely taken by the finish of the PGA event.  The "right" person won. Talked to sister #1 for the sibling call.  She is just back from Colorado.  Small world item - 18 years ago I was with the people she was visiting this past weekend as the wife came home from Mongolia where her husband was PC Director to have her baby and her mother was living in the same town in NC as I was working in.  Husband was Asst Director to sister #1 in Peru when she was Director when son and I were in Peru in early 2000's.  :)  AND wife's step father now swims at the recreation center at the CCRC where my brother currently works.  You know I love those webs.  

Other than that, waited for the rain to stop and walked to Unionville.  Very few people out.  Opening day for Farmer's Market was not great.  Everything abbreviated - vendors and musicians.  Too bad the weather in the a.m. was not like the afternoon.  

Today is opening day for town swimming pool.  Not going to be that hot today, but I will go anyway.  Emailed former school #1 just to confirm if I need something from them before I initiate the move of my retirement account with them.  Doesn't take much to befuddle me as to how to do things.  Man, I wish I had someone to bounce things off of...oh well.  :)  Did see that one of our former school #1 football players is going to the NY Giants.  :)

Tonight ZEN.  Only one this month.  Facilitator has a retreat she is going to later in the month. Tomorrow CA DC, Lansing on Wednesday.  Thursday dinner with sister #1 and two of her classmates.  One couple - my landlords.  :)  Friday sister #1 will pick up her daughter at the local airport then head to the beach.  Saturday is the bridal shower for my niece (sister #6's daughter).  In a perfect world I would have picked up daughter and stayed at the beach and brought her back to the airport on Tuesday...but life is not perfect.  :/
