Detroit Lions and me...in the same mood this a.m. :)

Did not stay up to watch the game...Did watch the end of the UNC basketball and almost all of the Chiefs game, but called it a night when the Lions game started.  One scrappy team beat another it looks like with another story line of rookie quarterback rather than devil may care coach.  The only upside is that son is not missing his hometown team's super bowl run.  Thrill of victory, agony of defeat kind of day.

Other than that - I walked up and dropped off The Confidante at the library then met up with sister #1 and gentleman caller to go to the Wadsworth museum.  I "counted" that as the rest of my walk.  Got back at 3-ish and sister went to get ready for her dinner out with her high school classmates (including my landlord and landlady) at the same restaurant we went to with sister #4 on Friday.  Cancelled the hike we had signed up for today.  Sister #1 is going to get out of town while the getting is good due to snow coming in later today.  Hope she is leaving early enough.  They are headed to first stop Philadelphia.  Started my next book on the bedside table - Craig Johnson - Tooth and Claw.

So today - meet at LaSalle for breakfast.  Now that I make pancakes for myself, my treat today will be an egg and biscuit type item.  Eggs are the big treat now.  I went from one a day to none for quite a while now.  Family friend's chickens are not going to be good layers for a bit yet with this cold weather...oh well.

TX friend said she is sending slippers...Amazon is a curse for me.  As I shared after I got this message, I am not agile on the shipping and receiving.  :)  PS. You now will have 2 pair of slippers arriving at your house choose the color you want to keep & Ill send a return label for the Amazon pair if those are not acceptable. Maybe they will fit a sister.  My plan is not to open either package and just return all.  :)  My feet are very warm in the UGGS hand me downs from my niece.

After breakfast, I will see about a walk, but I will get my shovel and snow pants ready.  Will make one shovel sweep today, then get up early to make sure all is cleared before the deep freeze starts on Monday.  At least there is sun in forecast along with the chill.  We will see if heat stays in the off position. :)

As the Sun is now moving into the most dynamic and passionate area of your chart you can and you must devote yourself to creating something that reflects well on your character and capabilities. What is your highest ideal? Make that your inspiration.

Think about the routines that have brought you a sense of comfort and predictability in the past, dearest Libra, as Mercury aspects Venus and Saturn. This nostalgic but productive cosmic climate encourages returning to basics, helping you make healthy choices. The atmosphere shifts this afternoon when the sun enters Aquarius, blessing you with creativity and brightness throughout the coming weeks. Prioritize people and activities that allow you to thrive while being your most unique self to make the most of this solar placement. Luck surrounds you this evening while Luna continues her journey through your sign and aspects of auspicious Jupiter.

A friend may not be communicating with you the way they should, Libra. Something is bothering him or her, and he or she doesn't want to discuss it. Even if you ask, the answers are likely to be evasive. Pushing won't be appreciated. Perhaps it's best to leave your friend alone to work it out. Your friend will tell you about it when the time is right.

Feel "right" about the prioritization of people and activities cosmic direction.  My "unique self" is hard for many to understand, but it works for me.

Have a good Sunday.  I will be looking for the breakfast selection at LaSalle that has the most egg items!  And some bread item.  And some meat item.  Not sure what kind of walk I will go on after that...but we will see.  :)
