No chatting yesterday, just shoveling :)

I thought my day was low energy until I read about the Chiefs' game yesterday.  :)  Oh well.  I watched the kick off and called it a day.  The only commercial I saw was the Dunkin'.  What a world we live in.  The Chiefs and I both need this "problem solving ladder".  The only "big changes" I have made since my return from my trip - pancakes instead of cereal, a bit less walking, less people rather than more...  I did have to smile when I thought about (as I was darning my socks) why don't I use some of my other socks that I have.  Not "athletic" but socks...will try them today to see if they work with my snow shoes and/or sneakers.  

Was in bed by 7 p.m., did not walk up until 5:47 a.m.  Heavy snow made for lots of spits and spurts on the shoveling.  The good news was landlord had to get to the ski hill for a race event, but took the snow blower out before he left for some big swipes.  WHEW!  I don't think I would have been successful.  :)  Waiting for the next weather report.  Still shooting for going to sister #4's on Saturday, then sister #1's on Sunday...we will see if sister #6 can make it from Cape on Sunday.  

Today.  Library to restock.  ZEN tonight.  Make list for tomorrow.  Don't need much.  Landlady left me gumbo/fancy bread last night.  I had already had my second meal so will have that tonight!  I have been hungrier than usual of late.  The cold makes me need more calories to stay warm?  It is the excuse I used in the mountains of Ecuador and why I came back at 160-ish lbs...luckily racquetball at Ohio University grad school post PC helped me get back to my usual 120-130.  :)

COMCAST bill in my inbox this a.m.  :/...  Not a good way to start the day, but the good news is I have the money to pay.  I know I am in lots better place than so many right now.  Have a good Monday.  Fingers crossed that this weekend happens.
