Spring has sprung in the apt

Ides of March today.  Yesterday, even though the eclipse was clouded out around me, I did feel energized to change sheets - flannel away, regular on, move bed to spring/summer location to take advantage of windows providing "air-conditioning", washed all the throw rugs I have around the apt, flip and rotate mattress, storm to screen windows ballet...felt like a new place by the end of all the conversions.  :)  Uplifting.  More than my electric bill...$102.  Not as bad as last month.  Thought it might be two digits instead of three but no luck.  $28 dollars of it in the "public assistance" charge to help offset the cost of assistance programs the state mandates to help low income customers...oh well.  

Heard from son.  His next event is tonight.  I sent him the email I wrote Thursday and had scheduled to send on Monday...but thought I would respond.  

Rough nights for "blue" basketball last night.  Onward and upward.  

Need to work on my blog work today.  My new blog boss has given me lots of tips.  I just need to spend the day reading and getting inspired and focused.  

Yesterday - back and forth with family friend as to fallout and follow up to the town meeting on Thursday night, my cleaning, started #3 of 3 Locke Hwy 59 series.  TX friend shared that she and her husband pulled the trigger and bought her a new car!  She has quite the next phase of her life.  New car, #2 grandbaby due on March 19, selling their house, moving to where her daughter lives and where she and husband lived in the 1985-1995 timeframe.  They have a rental home there now, but will think about keeping that but they will make lots of money off the sale of their TX house so they might just buy another one.  What a life.  :)  Heard from sister #6.  She asked me if I would go to the Historical Museum and buy her a 1979 high school yearbook.  I guess in one of her "moods" she threw hers away.  It was on FB that the local museum had old ones for sale.  I will head there on the tail end of my walk.  Will have to take some folding money with me.  They do not do credit cards.  Spoke to Albany DC friend.  He is so into his REIKI training.  

Something will happen over the next few days that restricts your options and forces you to focus on matters you would prefer to ignore. Get your act together, do what needs to be done and show others you are still very much on the ball.

No physical clutter to address around apt, but emotional baggage...where to start.  :)  It has been an interesting last 6+ months.  I am still navigating path forward.  I will watch for signs from beyond or ANYWHERE!  

Landlady put some newly homemade granola on my stoop yesterday.  That was a very appreciated surprise.  Have a good Saturday.
