It was a people day

Well it was a day.  From what I wrote to my cousin last night.  I had the gift today of being in the perfect place when (sister #4) read me the email she received from (cousin's daughter) (you know my technology challenges) about uncle's death.  A friend of mine from elementary school was in Connecticut for the weekend from Texas and TX friend, sister #4 and I had just finished lobster rolls at Bill's Seafood, nd were starting a walk on the beach at Hammonasset.  If that did not feel like I was channeling my cousin and getting support from the universe to shoulder the news being shared, I don't know what would.  

Thinking of uncle and cousin in that moment, in that place was a gift.  My last lobster roll was with my cousin, and me being where I was doing what I was doing was one of those "cosmic dominoes" that seem to be falling fast and furious around me these days.  Also the fact that cousin and her gentleman caller were in Collinsville just a month ago and much was shared about the family web that has been weaved over the decades.  (Sister #4 and I had to admit that we sure do like that gentleman caller.  ❤️) And I now sit at my desk looking out on Main St, thinking of what image I want to memorialize as I think my uncle - and I got that today. (uncle and his two grandsons) We all love my cousin without bounds, but I think that this picture is the one I want to keep in my mind as to the joy of being my uncle and all the cosmic dominoes that fell that made this picture a reality.  

So drive to coast, lunch, walk on beach, drive back home.  Finished latest Rendon. FEN blog broke 350,000 views.  I got a great response to an email I sent to a girl in a podcast I watched and sent it along to the blog "team".  As I said lots of people.  Email from the ZEN DC about an article that she read that reminded her of me.  People.

Today - off to New Hartford Diner with TX friend, Family friend and me.  Then an errand that TX friend needs to run for the owner of the house she stays at when she is in town.  (I go to bed too early).

Sister #4 shared with me that town pool opening may be changing up - I just read this on town web site...oh well.  When the Mills Pond Pool opening process began earlier this month, a number of repairs that needed to be addressed were found. The Department of Public Works and the Parks & Recreation Department have been working diligently to ensure we have a summer pool season. After meeting with contractors and getting approval from the Board of Selectmen, the necessary repairs are scheduled to begin next week so the pool can be filled as soon as possible. The start of our season will look a little different than we originally planned, and we appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.  We will see how the fixing progresses.  But sister #4 shared that dig for her backyard pool is to be June 23.  Summer could look different for me.

Landlord and landlady are back from beach.  My car is still parked on street and not in parking lot.
