People day Saturday

Was going back and forth with my old soul cousin (really my mother's cousin but he is much closer in age to our generation than my mother's.)  My mother was the oldest of her generation, this cousin the youngest.  The story behind the picture -  I was able to help the author of an article in Adirondack life magazine, who had recently discovered that his great grandfather was the illegitimate child of Ned Buntline, a 19th century dime novelist who turned Buffalo Bill Cody into a household word.  It turns out that I have a picture of his great grandfather in a canoe with four bucks. It was taken by my grandfather on hunting trip in the Adirondacks in in 1918.  The man in the bow of the Canoe is Walter Payne., A guide at the time.  Saying my cousin is a history buff is the understatement of the year.  We got going back and forth yesterday due to my Uncle's failing health and his eldest daughter's birthday.  ALL started with back and forth with another cousin's gentleman caller and my uncle's failing health.

As to how my day unfolded - 8 a.m. to noon was the helping neighbors deal.  I got matched up with a good group.  And all the people we helped knew me from my walking around town.  I was older than the people we were helping.  Good I got a younger group of co-helpers.  One was a member of the "White Church" I see out the window of my apt and she had seen me in the neighborhood on my walks and the couple in our group live on one of my routes and see me all the time AND the wife is an Americorp alum, Teach for America, played field hockey for the family friend who died this past October, went to Bates College - as sister #4 and my father. Husband was from New Orleans LA so we talked transitioning from South to North. Connective tissue.

As we drove between "jobs", car clock showed 11:11 a.m.  The White Church lady and I perked up when we saw that.  Glad that she "got" the angel number thing.  :)

Trying to finish up my latest Rendon today.  Listened to another great Dead Talks podcast. Shoshana Ungerleider.  What a gift to hear her speak.  I had not made the connection of her being the founder of End Well.

You may hate promoting yourself, and there are certainly more creative things you could be doing with your time and energy, but you do need to showcase your talents to people who might pay you for them. Money isn’t everything but it isn’t nothing either.

Love yourself fiercely this morning, darling Libra, as the Aquarius moon aligns with Venus and Pluto. Investing in your interests and identity will allow you to cultivate stronger friendships and romantic connections. Meanwhile, a rare cosmic climate forms while Jupiter aspects Chiron and the nodes of fate. Surround yourself with supportive companions while considering which areas of your life need expanding. Take into consideration how your cycles have held you back, making a vow to cultivate more productive habits. Get creative with your self-care routines or invest in a romantic night while Luna and Venus collaborate.

About two weeks ago, it may have occurred to you that you should be making more of an effort to advance your career, Libra. If so, it will be easier for you to accept today's constraints, as there is some probability that you will need to perform at your highest level. Be careful not to lose yourself in the attempt!

Plan for the day - write, walk, finish book, weather looks very supportive to lots of time outside.  I do not have much else on my docket.

Will stay alert to signs of my fate and trajectory and the almighty dollar.  :)  Have a good Sunday.
