Had an email from the author of Achieving A Good Death to write a review on Amazon. Good news, bad news I am "ineligible" due to my not meeting any Amazon purchase requirements. But I wrote one for him in case he can use it in any way. Achieving A Good Death is a book I will read more than once. Each time I dip back in I find something new. As with so many life lessons, I see what I need when I need to see it. A thought that has been shared with me and I keep front of mind - People do not accidentally die peacefully. And people don’t accidentally leave behind legacies of hope, love and encouragement. Mr. Palmer's book gives me a road map for helping me set my course as I move closer to death. Practical, clearly stated, and comprehensive are just some of the words that come to mind. It is a "must read" and a "must share", and I have done both. Many thanks for a book that illuminates a topic many would like to leave in the shadows.
Yesterday - did I report out that I did clean apt on Wednesday in case there was any wonder, walked up to library, dropped off book, saw family friend and her grandson at a program at the library, finished my walk, 1 p.m. massage, did have to get a truck to move so I could get my car back into my parking lot spot post massage, landlady showed me the hoist the landlord put in for her - now I know what all the ruckus was the last few days on the landing upstairs. She has issue with her foot so carrying things up the stairs is problematic, so now she has a remote controlled hoist to get stuff from car to their third floor location. I will be on the look out as things "float" by my window. Today ZOOM with NC friends to talk about their September travels to NE. 3:30 p.m. WA DC. Will walk and pick up another book today between those two happenings. I think I will done with latest Box by end of weekend.
Why has fate singled you out for so much good fortune? Who knows and, frankly, who cares! The only thing that should matter to you now is taking full advantage of the wonderful opportunities that are coming your way. You would be a fool not to.
Think about where your energy can best be channeled, dearest Libra, as the Gemini Moon squares the nodes of fate. This cosmic climate can reveal holes in your plans, encouraging you to break down big goals into manageable steps. Identify patterns that hold you back, primarily if they're rooted in disorganization or procrastination. You'll have a chance to nurture your dreams by adopting better habits when the Capricorn Moon aspects the Lunar Nodes this afternoon. Watch out for moody vibes at home when Chiron becomes agitated tonight, making it a point to prioritize sweetness and self-care when tensions rise.
Be open and communicative about your feelings today, Libra. Most people find it easy to share facts or concrete information. The challenge is to share something from your heart. Don't think that feelings always need to be kept secret. Just the opposite is true. Make sure you leave the channels open for emotional expression.
I will stay alert to the cosmic climate and good fortune. Have a good Friday...the 13th. Wish the weatherman had not said that out loud in his broadcast yesterday. I guess I would have noticed it at some point.
