Field trip day

Sister #4 let me know yesterday that her first dip in her pool was going to be that afternoon.  I sent her a video clip from one of the Esther Williams movies to inspire her.  Today I am off for a second visit to the Katharine Hepburn Museum.  Also flashing back to when I went to the Ava Gardner Museum in North Carolina.  :)  After museum today lunch at Parthenon Diner.  Post museum lunch in North Carolina was at The Diner.  Might see if my travel buddies will swing me by my landlord's beach house near The Kate.  Have not seen it in decades.  AND there was talk of swinging by AC Peterson's on the way home for an ice cream sundae.  Will see how BIG the day gets.  They are picking me up at 9 a.m.-ish.  

Sister #4 will be in the area at some point for calling hours/mass for friend who died.  She had key to apt so she can come and go without me but I will hope to see her at some point to see how the pool opening went.  

Yesterday GA group facilitator confirmed that I was "in" for joining the group.  Very exciting - published authors in the group, retired professors...hope I hold my own.  Walked.  Saw former school #1 co worker and her grandsons.  The grandsons and their parents are moving to the US from France.  Now both their daughters will be back in the US.  Big development for all the family.  Walk, pool.  Then legislative update webinar by C&C talking about MAID.  So in the "watching paint dry" as to legislation progress.  Not an encouraging process for someone like me with -0- in the patience category.  I applaud the stick-to-it-tiveness of the advocates.  

If it feels like you are getting nowhere fast at the moment it may be because you have taken on too many responsibilities and they are getting in the way of each other. You need to cut back ruthlessly on what you agree to do for other people.

No one is going to cater to your needs today, Libra, so get up and do things on your own. There's little sympathy from others, and strong opinions are a dime a dozen. There's a great deal of gossip buzzing around that you may be tempted to join. Don't enable this sort of behavior. It's only going to alienate you from others in the end.
