July 4 2025

Picture that made me smile yesterday with the basketball jersey.  Today a pic set my hair on fire. States where health care is the largest employer - the dark states.  SO dark in my mind.

Another "stat" - July 2024-July 25 as to MAZDA mileage...1,688  miles driven.  Not a road warrior anymore.  Will contemplate an oil change.  Last one was July 2024.  :)

Took care of my car tax bill yesterday, RMD processed.  Onward and upward for the second half of 2025...

‘[T]here is another tradition that we share today. It calls upon us never to be indifferent toward despair. It commands us never to turn away from helplessness. It directs us never to ignore or to spurn those who suffer untended in a land that is bursting with abundance.’   LBJ quote written in real time 60 years ago by Doris Kearns Goodwin's husband.   My response to the post:  Thank you for the inclusion of the LBJ quote from 60 years ago - ‘[T]here is another tradition that we share today. It calls upon us never to be indifferent toward despair. It commands us never to turn away from helplessness. It directs us never to ignore or to spurn those who suffer untended in a land that is bursting with abundance.’  Elected by the people officials passed this bill. I think that is a good place to begin my contemplation. I will hope that people who find their lives changed by this bill will speak out and vote their reality - on the local, state and federal level.

Lots of blog work yesterday. Looking at the end of life tourism business arising in Vermont. I will try to sign off for the weekend as my colleagues are doing.  Everything is upside down today - pool is open early closing early so I will flip walk and swim sequence.  :)  Nothing else on my paper calendar.  Yesterday - walk, swim. Will look for a chunk of time to read River book.  Loving it.  Tomorrow a.m. Lansing DC.

You know what you are talking about but are you communicating your meaning to other people so they know it too? You will need to spell out your ideas in words of three syllables or less today, because some people can be incredibly dumb.

Don't let your insecurities rule you, dearest Libra. As the Moon enters Scorpio and squares Pluto, challenge yourself to stay grounded and confident. Luckily, Venus' debut into Gemini brings an extreme morale boost, making it easier to embrace boldness and optimism. Keep your prospects open while Jupiter activates midafternoon, especially when it comes to financial and career opportunities. Meanwhile, Neptune stations retrograde, which could create confusion or dissatisfaction in romantic matters. Avoid being swayed by the opinions of peers when Mercury becomes agitated. Instead, consider spending some time alone to nurture your instincts once Luna aspects Mars later tonight.

This is an excellent day in which your thinking is clear and your emotions stable, Libra. Use this powerful combination of a solid frame of mind and compassionate feelings to express yourself in a sincere, positive fashion. There's a great deal of power on your side helping you track down your goals and get exactly what you want.

Love the cosmic guidance for my day.  4:21 a.m. as we speak. On last (4th) cup of coffee.  11:30 a.m. pool opens.  Deep a good thought that I feel the power to track down my goals.  :)  Have a good Friday.
