Why did I look?

Why did I add to my angst yesterday morning and look at this winter forecast map...I better win the lottery and head to my son's buddy's airbnb.  :)  Rough end to my "distracted by shiny objects" morning yesterday.  

Add to the distractions.  Swimming ladies "porch luncheon" on tomorrow.  I will miss EOLD and do a later swim.  But pool side discussion yesterday settled me into the idea.  Also family friend will not be back from their farm in time for Wednesday walk so we will go for Thursday.  I am just going to throw this week into the helter skelter bucket.  Blog, news of the day - world and in the life of friends and family, schedule changes, TWO days with red on my word work...  I will just buckle in and wait for next week.  I need to mentally prepare for more change - pool closing, fall season upon us.  

Yesterday walked to Shoppes for recon, pool.  Lots of back and forth on blog work, luncheon plan - 85 year old will carpool me again :), TX friend called.  She and husband are off to Arkansas for the funeral of her sister's step son.  Today for me - Shoprite, wash, dishwasher, walk, CA DC, "late" pool.  

If you stand back and let other people make the running today you will save yourself a lot of time and effort and still end up at the place you were hoping to reach. Sometimes it pays to be the face in the crowd that doesn’t stand out.
