Seneca said that the mind must be given over to long, wandering walks or it’ll break the that the hammer eventually breaks against the anvil. We go for walks, we get outside, we get moving, and we’re amazed at the problems it solves.”

And also from yesterday, pic from Maine/my NC travelers and from me the CT traveler from the visit at beach with cousin.  So yesterday I headed out for walk earlier than normal.  Wanted to be on the road by 11:30 a.m.  Got to cousin's at 12:40 p.m. You know other road warriors were a bit peeved by the old lady and her MAZDA doing no more than 60 MPH on the highway.  Sounds like a personal problem for them to me.  :)  Great walk and lunch . Then to the town green for ice cream.  Good visit.  Unsettling news about her son's facing some hard decisions, but I shared what I could.  Then drive home - same "break neck speed".  :)  All my trepidation about visit melted away.  Nothing on my paper calendar for today. " Walk to Unionville the only "to-do".
