Chore day

Winding road came to my mind this a.m.  First day in a bit where coming and goings of others did not "bump" into my day.  6:53 a.m. check out at Shoprite $13.89/$3.76 shopping day.  Ran dishwasher.  Washed load of clothes.  Walk.  Went through emails of the last week or two to make sure I did not miss any assignments.  Have my list.  Was not in the head space yesterday to take action step.  Maybe today.  Responded to ROV about early voting assignment - Oct 24, 25, 31, Nov 2.  No Election Day.  Realizing that means I stay in town the night of the town Halloween Parade...I will leave my car at the Community Center after working early voting and walk home so Landlord can have my parking space in back.  

Today clean apartment, EOLD at noon, walk after that, Lansing tonight.  Then 4 days with nothing on my paper calendar.  Will see what that means.  Family friend is at her farm in NYS for the week so no walking partner this week.  Thinking son is traveling this week.  Hope he is not jammed up with the issues at airports.  Hard for me to get my head around who is getting paid during shutdown and who is not...i.e. legislators are, air traffic controllers not...
